I have to say I was very pleasantly surprised when I saw this resort. This place is cool. The price tag on it is very reasonable in comparison to most of the competition. The lobby has a modern Caribbean décor with some cool music. They really have a cool ambiance in there. After you exit that area you have in what I call the town square. It is a square with lake with fountains in the middle. This is where you will find most of the restaurants, the disco, casino, theatre, and game room. I didn’t see any of the restaurants here but they look really cool from the outside so that have to have good décor in the inside.

The game room at this resort is something very unique. They have their own bowling alley. Your first game is free. After that it is $5 per game not per person. They also have a bar, pool tables, ping pong, foosball, air hockey, and darts. After leaving the town square you have the buffet restaurant which has one of the biggest spreads I saw in all of Punta Cana even though this is by far not the biggest resort I saw in Punta Cana. After this you have a pretty open area of gardens and then the rooms, the pool in the middle and then the beach. One side of the pool is the Ocean Sands. The other side is the ocean Blue. The two are the same and treated like the same resort. I only sell the Blue so your rooms will be on the right side of the pool.

This resort has two pools. One is more of a relaxing pool while the other is a active pool with a swim up bar and a lot of things going one. There are two parts to the beach. One is for all guests and there is a spate part for the privilege club. The rooms are this resort are the same but those in the privilege have a couple of added amenities. Those amenities include an upgraded mini bar, added concierge service, private check in and check out, a private lounge, and a special beachfront seafood restaurant that costs $40 per person for other guests. The beach section for the privilege club has beach beds instead of regular loungers. It is also a lot more laid back as in the regular area they are more active. One thing this resort has that man other lack is a beach bar. It is so nice to sit under a palapa with a wooden bar on the beach. There is something about that just makes the vacation complete.

Reasons why you would book this resort: you are looking for an awesome value in a resort that has class and character.

Reasons why you would not book this resort: you are looking for an adults only resort.
